  1. Hi Meg! I really enjoyed watching your vlog. I’ve never heard of or seen High School before, but after watching your video I want to now. I loved your dialogue about the series. I also appreciated how clearly you spoke, I cannot say I was success with that in my vlog.
You did a great job! 🙂

  2. I’ve never seen this show but I’ve definitely heard of it. This is definitely a really cool aspect of the show to focus on. its not just gender roles but also the the complexities and stigma around co-parenting , as well as “unconventional” family dynamics. I would love to hear more about how this parenting style impacted the twins (if that is a focus of the show). Also isn’t the mom in criminal minds???

  3. Meg, I really appreciated the way you zoomed into a singular small scene within a single episode to dive into a deeper level of analysis. I thought you did a good job of really examining the scene critically and carefully. Since this is a less familiar TV show given its newness, I would have loved to have more of an overview of the show to better understand the context for the scene and how what you show happening here relates to the overall work the shows developers/producers are engaged in. While you indicate that the scene plays with traditional gender roles in an alternative family situation and that despite that you did not find the scene hegemonic, I am wondering if you think that the show as a whole is disrupting dominant narratives or not?
