Artist Statement:

Our short film What Is Love, is meant to center BIPOC queer stories through interviews. In honor of intersectionality, this film highlights the stories of queer people who aren’t usually represented. As three queer, BIPOC students we can’t help but to see ourselves in this film. Queerness as a term comes with the underlying assumption of whiteness, and this film is meant to bring light to the stories of those of us who are lost in that definition.
