The casual story-telling nature I decided to use to convey this story was very important to me. The fact of the matter is that the story was in and of itself casual. It was a casual mistake that I made, that had very little consequence. Despite this, it was the first time I realized that it would be okay to break the rules. That not all actions have complete dire outcomes. As I mentioned in the podcast, I had prior attempted to follow all the rules and be a perfect student. This event started me on a journey of learning how to break out of the narrow box I had lived in my entire life. True production of this event would have been a mistake. A casual action, a casual story, a changed life.
