I like how you addressed how large of a presence Twilight is culturally. That’s been my only exposure to Twilight so it was helpful that you mentioned that. I also liked the point you made about the relevance of Bella’s parents being divorced. I think that’s interesting in the way it furthers the christian messaging of the film in a “divorce will let the monsters get the children” way, and it’s not something that I’ve heard talked about in the various criticisms of Twilight i’ve heard.
