I like your critiques of the male/female relationships in this film and how, while the main character holds herself in high regard, her male friends constantly question her and don’t really give her full dramatic agency. This happens all too often in film, and recognizing that seems very important to critiquing this film. Along with this, Your analysis into the main characters are very important to understanding this series through a critical eye, and while highlighting the shows shortcomings, it still seems to me like it is moving forward from some very problematic shows in the past.
