Our film is a love story between two characters, Blue and Orange, inspired by one of the creators&#8217; personal love stories and influenced by the other creators&#8217; unique perceptions\/experiences of love. This film functions as an expression of the universality of love; and works to represent trans love with regard to its beautiful intimate moments. It rejects the notion that trans love must include some form of a complication relating to the character&#8217;s gender identity in order to have accurate and\/or beautiful representation; in that way our film is counter hegemonic. As creators who all identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, we intentionally worked to invite the audience into the process of falling in love; to express the idea that love is a universal experience.
